'Tis ironic that The Central Park Arsenal is currently loaded with a cache of art pieces exploring the theme of gardens and paradise.
Curators Lacy Davisson Doyle and Clare Weiss have stockpiled The Arsenal's third floor gallery with a spectrum of artist works that snake through the theme of 'garden as paradise' in all of its light, dark, and green ramifications. Both the sacred and profane are explored as well as the endangered and edenic. Pictured here are works by JJ Garfinkel, Roxy Paine, and Julie Evans.
The exhibit runs through May 24, 2006.
