Artist friend Sabrina Gschwandtner recently released her fabulous new book, Knit Knit: Profiles and Projects from Knitting's New Wave. Created as an extension of the Knit Knit periodicals series, Knit Knit, the book, takes a more in depth look at the multitude of ways that contemporary artists and crafters have cleverly pushed the limits of knitting as a cutting edge medium. Published by Stewart, Tabori and Chang with photos by Kiriko Shirobayashi, this much-anticipated compilation peers into why knitting has become more than a leisurely past time and has rapidly become a legitimate medium for a gamut of creative expressions everywhere.
