Argentinean clothing and accessories designer Silvina Romero creates totally to-die-for recycled fabric, thread, and textile jewelry forms.
Previously featured on Inhabitat, Treehugger, and Craftzine, I could not resist highlighting several of her pieces once again during the buzz of New York's Mercedes-Benz Fall Fashion Week 2007. The designer's collection was conceived during a 'resourceful' period scavenging for materials in Once, a Buenos Aires neighbourhood where all the fabrics dealers are located.
If you happen to be in Buenos Aires, Silvina Romero sells her creations at a store called 'Condimentos' located in Palermo (Honduras 4814) and also at The Museum of Latin American Art Store (Figueroa Alcorta 3415).
