I finally made it to the Vertical Gardens exhibit at Exit Art this week with artist friends Eve and Susan, and though impressive, everything felt overly cramped in that windowless downstairs room allocated for the show. Vertical garden diagrams and live wall installations need to breathe and reach skywards in my humble opinion. One of my favorite finds, though, was this vintage poster of green roof vegetable patches circa 1970.
I am holding out for Seeding The City, due to launch this August. Read more about Eve Mosher's 'greening the urban expanse' enterprise here.
