I just returned from a long weekend exploring the amazing town of Kavala, Greece – less than a five hour drive from Sofia, Bulgaria. I also spent one night at the very serene Imaret, a restored monument and now a historic hotel with it's own private mosque and library.
I will be back in NYC by mid December, but until then I am working on putting together all of the various puzzle pieces for new projects and travels from here to Kavala and back.
