Titania Inglis Spring/Summer 2014 Tessellation Collection
Brooklyn-based designer Titania Inglis showed her SS14 Tessellation Collection at New York Fashion Week last week, and her ongoing exploration of themes related to art, geometry, handmade fabrication, and nature were genuinely quite stunning.
"Tessellation for SS14 fit together like a sweet honeycomb of organic and industrial know-how. Inglis clearly demonstrated that crafting a vision in fashion involves mapping out every last detail while also using one’s resources wisely. Mathematics and sustainable strategy aside, these are beautiful pieces that transcend the day-to-day calculations and intentions that so often limit rather than empower our sense of personal style."
